What is Neo-Tantra?

Tantra approaches lovemaking as an intentional practice where we harness our energy for spiritual growth. Learn how intimate connection can be a path to experiencing the true nature of self and universe. Tantric lovemaking has no goal beyond realization and its only aim is the practice of radical presence. In fact, the practice involves removing all pre-conceptions and expectations. Instead, we follow the spontaneous unfolding of the present moment into divine bliss. Moving beyond the stories and beliefs about what lovemaking means, we become truly alive and deeply connected through this powerful spiritual practice.

Is this workshop for me?

Appropriate for all levels of experience. Caity Flanagan – Co-Founder of Embodied Erotic. Caity is a somatic sex & intimacy coach, embodiment educator and Tantric practitioner dedicated to supporting other on the journey of radical embodiment, sensual awakening, and coming home to the Heart. She is passionate about supporting others to heal and alchemize their sexual trauma and is dedicated to birthing a new paradigm of integrative and holistic sexuality. Caity studied Tantric meditation under Lorin Roche and draws on the Triple Shakti Model as taught by Lorin, for honoring and working with the innate wisdom of the body and Prana-Shakti. She also has studied deeply in the realms of somatic trauma healing.

Matt Sturm – is a leader of transformational experiences and the co-founder of Embodied Erotic, a community for sacred sexuality workshops and ceremonies. Matt studied Sacred Spot Massage with Charles Muir, one of the originators of Neo-Tantric massage; and has been offering healing sessions for over 5 years. Matt is trained in the Hakomi method of psychotherapy – a body-based therapy centered around mindfulness. Matt is a Hatha yoga teacher and plant medicine guide.
