IMPACT Bay Area: Teen Empowerment Self-Defense Course (Day 2)

IMPACT Bay Area’s 10-hour Teen Course is designed for self-identified girls ages 12-16. This course focuses on preventing stranger and peer violence while empowering students to understand, respect, and defend their own boundaries. This course gives students the opportunity to practice verbal boundary setting with strangers as well as people they know. We teach a range of physical self-defense skills practiced full force in realistic and safe scenarios against a mock assailant. This method of teaching provides the benefits of “muscle memory” – students remember their techniques in a crisis situation. Students will gain the confidence and skills needed to feel safer in the world. Classes are limited to 16 participants.

Wondering if this class is right for your teen? Read Katherine’s story.
