VIRTUAL: Somatic movement classes for spine flexibility and posture

Somatic movement class for spinal flexibility and posture for seniors

Would you like to have more spine flexibility, better posture and balance? Come to the class, no pre-requisite necessary! The class is designed for participants 60 years and older.

We will learn together:

 Strategies to improve body-awareness, and posture

 Exercises to increase spinal flexibility and relaxation

 How to decrease pain produced by bad posture and repetitive injuries

We will use a gentle somatic approach using elements of Body-Mind Centering®, and dance.

We will practice breathing and strength exercises for the upper body, using bands and balls. Some exercises will be practiced standing, others seated, and resting in a mat, according to your skills.
