EBCS is available for rent for public and private weekend events, both during the day and evening.
Rentals include both the main space (oak floor, roughly 25 x 40) and the mezzanine (carpeted, roughly 30 x 12). The space has 6 gender neutral toilets, showers, and a sauna. The main space has a sound system, DJ booth, portable stage and stage lighting.
Friday night, 6pm – 2am: $700 – $900
Saturday night, 6pm – 2am: $850 – $1,100
Sunday night, 6pm – midnight: $150 – $400
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning until noon, $30-50/hr, with 3 hour minimum
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon, 12pm – 5:30pm, $40-60/hr, with 3 hour minimum
Three additional fees:
Insurance surcharge of 10% applies only to room rental fee
Cleaning fees vary depending on size of the event and if food is served: $25 – $100
House Manager is required for 1 hour of set-up and 1 hour of break down at $25/hr. For some events, a house manager is required for the duration of the event, including set-up and break down.
We require that all public events be priced affordably, on a wide sliding scale, and that EBCS members receive a 10% admission discount.
For public events, we assist with outreach and publicity, in the form our website calendar and announcements on our Facebook group and page.
