The Trump and Republican victories in the Senate and the House have left us reeling. We need some time and space to assess what happened and to determine how the Club can best participate in the fights ahead of us. This meeting will be an opportunity for members to share their thoughts on the election results and our visions for the Club’s role in this new moment. Join us for small group discussions followed by a discussion in the full group.
Wellstone is the largest democratic club in the East Bay, with more than 300 members. We work to advance an agenda of economic, racial, and social justice; environmental sustainability; and peace by serving as a bridge between these movements and electoral and legislative politics.
