Centerforce Jazz Fundraiser feat. Ayo Brame Quartet – August 3rd, 2 – 4 pm

Centerforce is hosting a jazz fundraiser featuring saxophonist Ayo Brame. The afternoon will include food, drinks, a silent auction, and a conversation with Annette Corriveau, a lived-experience Centerforce Program Manager who will tell you about our work supporting formerly incarcerated individuals.
Ayo Brame, a 17-year-old professional tenor saxophone jazz musician from Oakland, is a rising star in the jazz world. He’s a student of jazz great Richard Howell, honing his skills at the renowned Oaktown Jazz Workshops. Ayo has graced the stage with numerous accomplished musicians at prestigious venues like the Black Cat in San Francisco, Brownstone Jazz in Brooklyn, Dizzy’s Coca-Cola Room & Sour Mouse in New York City, and a San Francisco Giant’s game. His talent has taken him to jazz festivals across the Americas, and he is currently touring across the United States this summer.
