Capoeira Angola Quintal (CAQ) presents workshops and a roda with Mestre Ombrinho, founder of the New York Mindful Capoeira Center.
Capoeira is the Afro-Brazilian art that combines self defense, dance, and acrobatics. The evening is part of CAQ’s four-day Backyard Festival, and will be geared toward students with some capoeira experience, though all levels are welcome.
