Standing in a group of people, have you ever felt completely, confusingly, and ironically alone?
The Livingwater Artist Collective presents Alone Together, a play exploring the idea, perception, and practice of community. Each and every person has experienced the effects of community, a place where you can feel both alone and at home all at once. We’ve all felt this way. Let’s stop pretending to be perfect and cherish our broken, uncertain, and beautiful humanity, together. In telling our story, we hope to break down the barriers and change the way community is expressed.
This event is more than a performance, it’s an opportunity to share your story. An hour before each show, we’ll open the doors early for activities and prompts for you to reflect on your own, engage with others, and expereince community in new ways.
