Curious how a Fat Folks First swap works???
– All bodies are welcome. Straight sizes, plus sizes and super plus sizes. Clothing swaps are MORE FUN with MORE FRIENDS!
– Clothes are organized by garment type & size, not gender.
– Fashion shows are heartily encouraged and hooted and hollered and supported boisterously by ALL throughout the event.
– There are lots of different bodies in lots of states of dress and undress and that is wonderful.
– Please only bring the best of the best items from your give away selection. if it is in need of repair, leave it behind. If it has a stain, no thank you. You can take a lot of that stuff straight to donation and bring the most fun and best conditions items to us.
– No cell phones. No cameras. No capturing of images of any kind. Since folks will be in their underpants we need to respect their privacy.
– Fashion input and commentary can only be given with the explicit consent of the receiver. This means you need to ASK FIRST before you share your opinion about someone’s look. Be thoughtful of fashion commentary and critique. . . ALL comments are complementary and positive about the BODY the clothes are worn by. ALL types of bodies are gorgeous. . . whether or not the clothes on them are doing them justice is up for discussion. . . when consented to.
– Children Welcome from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Adults only 3:00 – 5:00 pm

If you have special items you want to donate but you wont be able to come to the swap or if accessibility logistics make it difficult to bring your items the day of. . . you can drop your items off with Raquel Cee in advance. Reach out to her for details.
