Improvisational Alchemy is a “come-as-you-are” dance experience that follows the 5 Elements: Earth (stability), Water (adaptability), Air (freedom), Fire (creativity), and Metal (intuition). Alchemy is a transformational process of taking elements and creating something new. Using improvisational movement in a space with other people can change your relationship to yourself.
Appropriate for all levels of dancer. No dance experience needed. Space is wheelchair accessible. LGBTQ safe space. All ages, Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.
This is a pay what you can event, $5-$25. Purchase the ticket that you can comfortably afford. If you cannot attend and want to donate $ so others can attend please use the donation feature available.

Ample street parking around venue. Bus stop right in front of building. Walking distance from Rockridge BART.
What can I bring into the event?
Yoga mat, dance props, clean dance shoes if desired, water bottle.
