Loving Ourselves First with Steve Bearman, PhD

Learn to Love is BACK, re-starting our monthly gathering on opening our hearts and growing our kindness, compassion, empathy and understanding.

We’ll begin this path of the heart by extending our love to the most important person: ourselves.

Steve Bearman, founder of Interchange Counseling Institute, will be presenting this month’s talk, helping us break out of self-doubt, judgement, and fear of not being good enough.

Steve will use his more than two decades of experience leading workshops and counseling others to help us all discover new levels of self-validation, wholeness and unconditional self-love.

Beyond a talk, discussion and Q+A, Steve will also guide participants through experiential exercised designed to break through the barriers that prevent us all from extending the most important emotion of all, love, to the most important person of all, ourselves.

Zach Beach, founder of Learn to Love, will provide an introductory talk examining how shame, judgement and fear prevent us from truly loving ourselves, along with exercises that promote self-love and self-care. By distinguishing between self-love and self-indulgence, we can invite warm feelings of wholeness into our own hearts without any guilt around selfishness or undeservedness.
