About our guest DJ: DJ Uni (a.k.a. Fay Ravery) is a queer sorceress whose sets are intoxicating brews to compel your dancing spirit. Their selections and samples take shape based on crowd energy with offerings that span hip-hop and synth-pop, to classic R&B and souldies, from dreamwave and world beats to funk and nu-disco. A member of Bae area bands Heartillery and Sauntic and part of visual art+technology collective WIR, they have brought their mixtape magic to venues throughout NorCal including Starry Plough, El Rio, Night Light and 1-2-3-4-Go Records.
Queer Magic Mornings are a safe(r) space for queer folx to be with our bodies, our breath and each other.
Come start your day with movement and community! Be solo, play with another, roll on the floor, discover how your body loves to move! Our host guides us in a brief opening and closing circle and offers playful invitations for embodied exploration throughout.
