Join us as we commemorate 12 months of heart-expanding group study with the opening of our exhibition at The Well. For the month of February we are transforming The Well into The Black Feminist Study Room — a place where all are invited into fellowship with the works, imaginings, images of black feminist thinkers.
This is a social experiment. An attempt to make the paradigm shifting work we’ve been doing accessible to a broader public and an attempt to bring our distinctly black feminist magic into a public space and see what kind of social and cultural impact it makes.
There will be offerings of music, love and reflection throughout the night. At 9pm we will open up the mic for folks to come and share the quotes from the black feminist thinkers, writers, world changers close to their hearts.
