The Curious Magic of Gender: An Embodied Ritual (Telegraph Room)

The culture(s) we are part of have informed many of us how we, as individuals, should dance with and within our gender. We, as beings, have the power to make that dance our own! In this body movement ritual, we will dive in together for a chance to listen to our skin, feel our flesh, and hear what our own inner experience has to tell us about the magic of gender. Join Z Griss, Lee Harrington, and Ariel Vegosen in this opportunity to honor our gender journey ancestors, through holding each other in our vulnerability and our courage during our evening of delight and exploration.
Copies of the new anthology “Queer Magic: Power Beyond Boundaries” will also be available for those interested, a new project featuring 43 amazing LGBTQ+ contributors, a few of whom will be in attendance that evening.
Come with an open mind, and bring clothing that you are open to sharing with others that invites gender exploration (Examples: Fabrics, dresses, jackets, jewelry, shirts, hats, and more). We will be doing clothing changes, so come wearing whatever you would like to wear underneath.

Time/Date: 7-9p
